Water treatment

Jet-Vac Systems specialises in the cleaning of water and sewage process units, and was the first company in the UK to develop a dual separation system for the treatment of sewage sludge. We can separate rag and debris down to 4 mm and grit down to 75 µ, and the cleaned liquor is then returned on-site for reprocessing. The benefits of this system are reduced disposal costs and minimal transport, helping to reduce our customers' carbon footprints.

Our water treatment cleaning services include:

  • grit separation and screening
  • digester cleaning
  • tank cleaning
  • filter media removal
  • lagoon cleaning
  • settlement / storm tanks
  • grit channels
  • aeration ditches (live or isolated)
  • centrifuging
  • disposal

Applications of our water treatment operations include:

  • refineries
  • steel manufacturing
  • water and sewage plants
